Sustainability

All of us have had to adapt to significant upheaval over the past couple of months. Most of our lab users are currently distant from the labs and can’t expect a return to how things were. Martin and the Green Labs initiative will also be unable to visit labs around the University for the foreseeable future. Therefore, we have moved online!

The Green Labs Yammer group is now our principle form of communication. For those of you that are unfamiliar, Yammer is an internal social network that we all have access to (it’s part of the same package as Microsoft Teams, One Drive etc.). It’s a quick and easy place to ask questions and seek support from your peers.

As times are a little different at the moment, we’ve also been sharing resources on how to remain productive outside of the lab, tips to try when lab work ramps up again, and science experiments you can do with the kids at home! The resources on our website are getting a much-needed refresh too.

So have a look around! Feedback is always welcome.
