Sustainability

The Environment and Energy section is currently looking for members of staff or students in your department who would be interested in running biodiversity-related activities to boost local biodiversity and help promote wellbeing activities too.

Such events could include, but are not restricted to, nature walks, hanging nest boxes to help birds and bats, community gardening, installing ‘hedgehog highways’ etc. The Environment and Energy section can help you devise these activities which you can either run on your own or in conjunction with local biodiversity groups.

Would you be interested in this project, or know someone who might be? Undergraduates, Postgraduates, PhD’s, administrative and academic staff can all have an impact on your local biodiversity! If you are interested, please contact Cecile Thiaucourt, Biodiversity Engagement Intern in the Environment & Energy section.
