Sustainability

The University of Cambridge Colleges are once again running a campaign alongside Cambridge City Council to collect unwanted items for donation to the British Heart Foundation. The 2013 campaign collected almost 2000 bags - nearly 16 tonnes of clothing, fabric, books and other items diverted from landfill and raising money for a fantastic charity - and we're already on track to beat this total in 2014!

There are some impressive individual totals already - Trinity College have so far collected 170 bags at their main site, and Girton College's Wolfson Court is in the lead with 172 bags. However, John's has collected 300 bags in total - it will be interesting to see who comes out on top!
