You may have seen a recent Stagecoach announcement about their decision to withdraw from operating 18 predominantly rural bus routes in Cambridgeshire. We are aware that Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) are in the process of urgently tendering all of the bus routes in question, in an attempt to bring in other bus operators to keep the services going until March 2023.

Once the immediate issues are addressed, CPCA will then undertake further work to review the routes in question as part of a wider bus strategy project.
