The Environment and Energy Section has opened applications for a second Building Energy Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Environment and Energy, the post holder will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to designated University departments to identify and implement projects focused on reducing their energy consumption and carbon emissions.

With funding initially agreed for a 5-year period, we are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in delivering carbon savings across a comparable diverse and complex estate in addition to a degree in a related energy/engineering discipline. Applicants should hold membership of a relevant professional body (CIBSE, Energy Institute), and should possess strong communication skills with the ability to succeed in highly collaborative and collegiate environments that rely on extensive stakeholder engagement. The role will suit professionals with proven track records in delivering solutions across a similar multi-site portfolio.
