Hazardous Waste
The University has two new suppliers for the disposal of hazardous waste. Tradebe and Sharpsmart will help meet sustainability targets by offering fewer road miles, more online processes to cut down on wastepaper, more efficient storage of waste on site and returnable sharps bins.
Hospitality
Over the next few months, the University will be inviting tenders from a range of hospitality suppliers, with new University-wide agreements planned from next summer.
Until then, you can book from any of the approved suppliers listed on the University Catering Services (UCS) page, safe in the knowledge they meet the sustainability criteria set out in our terms and conditions.

The University’s terms and conditions for buying goods and services, which include minimum standards for sustainability that all our approved suppliers must meet, have been revised. Please make sure you always use the latest versions.
