Gold Food February: Tell them your views on good food

What does ‘good food’ mean to you?  Can you recall a memorable food experience with friends or neighbours?  What does a good food neighbourhood look like to you?

As part of their gold food action this month Cambridge Sustainable Food has been hosting a series of community meal events across the city. Working in partnership with the Community Food Hubs, they are collecting stories from the people of Cambridge about what good food means to them.  Here are some food memories that were shared:

"Platinum Jubilee - we came together in my garden and all brought a dish and ate together, but the young people liked it too.  Lovely cakes, desserts, and savoury food."

"We have a strong community and we do bring and share, we have an annual BBQ and picnic … everybody brings something along. Last year we had...people from Ukraine and East Africa, who produced the most lovely biryani."

If you haven’t already shared your story and would like to, here’s another chance: their survey will be live until the end of the month.
