Have your say on the transport issues at the University and in Cambridge and how we can improve your journeys

Every year the University gathers data from staff about their journeys to work and at work via the Annual Staff Travel Survey. This is done for a number of reasons:

  • To better understand the changing travel needs of our staff.
  • To determine if there is a business case for investing in new transport initiatives for staff.
  • For travel plan monitoring and planning requirements.
  • To collaborate with partners and Cambridge wide initiatives, such as the Greater Cambridge Partnership, to feed in to transport data from Cambridgeshire businesses.
  • To provide data to Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) as part of the Estate Management Record.

We would like to collect information from as many staff as possible. Staff can choose to be entered into a prize draw to win £150.

The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete and the information supplied will be kept confidential. Participants can also sign up to a transport mailing list to receive regular updates from the Environment and Energy Section.

The survey will go live on Monday 15 October and will stay open until October 28.
