Walking in autumn leaves

The NHS recommends 150 minutes of weekly exercise and a lunchtime walk is the perfect way to up your step count whilst having a much-needed break from your desk. As part of the Walking for Health initiative, Simone Castello is running free lunchtime walks in Central Cambridge and all are welcome!

Walks start outside the University Centre, Mill Lane.

1st and 3rd Monday of each month, 1-2pm.

Next walk: 3 February.

Refreshments and toilets are available at the University Centre.

You can find out more on the Facebook page or get in touch with Simone via email.

Walks usually take around an hour at a gentle pace along scenic routes. Children are welcome under parental/carer supervision. Walks will go ahead unless it’s raining heavily or in adverse weather like snow and high winds.
