Cambridge Sustainable Food Christmas Hamper Appeal

Gold Food December: Sharing food at Christmas

More than 700 hampers filled with seasonal food have been pledged through the Christmas Hamper appeal. Launched by Cambridge City Food Bank, Cambridge City Council and CSF,  the appeal seeks to ensure families in need receive some treats, fresh groceries and a gift this Christmas.

Sam Dyer, CEO, Cambridge Sustainable Food, said: “The response to the food hamper appeal has been fantastic. Initiatives like this are central to achieving food justice for all and we hope that it will make the holiday season a little brighter for many families in our city.”

Many local people face a tough time this Christmas: your help would be very welcome.  If you can contribute a gift, fresh produce, a hamper or some money, find out how to make a donation here.
