Green Impact Awards 2021-22
The key word for the tenth year of Green Impact at the University of Cambridge was resilience. The challenges posed by COVID-19 were still present, even when they were less obvious. The strange hybrid nature of working was also felt, with some teams fully back in their work place and others still working from home.
Despite the increased challenge, we are hugely proud to announce that 42 teams have achieved 43 unique awards. Our teams completed over 2100 actions and earned over 10,000 points. In our college awards, no team achieved a level lower than Gold, with 8 attaining Platinum status.
Without our student auditors we would not have been able to award a single award, let alone 43. We'd like to thank our 51 auditors from 28 different colleges that gave up their time to help us validate the efforts of our teams. It was great to see the spread across the collegiate University. Hopefully we can get to 31 next year!
