Project summary: This project developed the University Catering Service’s work to promote sustainable food options across its outlets through improved marketing and merchandising.
Key findings: Through a multi-faceted approach - which involved reviewing current marketing by the University Catering Service, researching insights from academic research in behavioural psychology, and carrying out a small trial - a marketing plan has been developed to strengthen the marketing of sustainable food options across the University Catering Service.
How has it been used? The findings from this work are being used to inform progress and increased capacity to focus on marketing across the University Catering Service.
