Sustainability

The Environmental Sustainability Report 2016 is now available. This is the University of Cambridge's first such report, which details its progress towards meeting the goals set out in the University’s Environmental Sustainability, Vision, Policy and Strategy.

Divided into nine areas, including energy and carbon, water, and waste management, the report details the successes achieved in 2015/16, case studies of sustainability initiatives, and descriptions of the areas where we can and intend to do better.

It will take a number of years for the University to achieve all of its sustainability goals but as this report demonstrates, a good start certainly has been made with plenty of positive news to share.
